This was well written but it does not answer all the questions so many people have. Especially when it comes to false allegations. You know, those things you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole? If you’re not willing to even discuss them then why discuss any of it? There is this long and tired epidemic of whites who want to pin rape and sexual assault on black men. What happens when these so called victims aren’t Credible? Like Kobe’s accuser who lied to the police? Michael’s accusers who have been caught in so many lies my head spun several times.

Where is their accountability? This isn’t about silencing black women. This is holding certain people accountable. Everyone accountable for their actions. Perhaps Michael should have spent less time helping children get better and paying for their health care and college educations. We forget that part. We focus on the silly salacious gossip because “victims” right? But what doesn’t change is that he was acquitted TWICE. ALL of his accusers never seemed to find the police station. That left turn is a doozy. It always leads to an attorneys office.

Credible allegations should be taken seriously. But we should be fair to everyone including the accused. We happen to live in a democracy and just accusing people now is enough to paint them with the same brush as Abusers.

That’s where #MeToo and #timesup need to figure out what they want to be. Fighting for justice or more like the Salem witch trials. They’ll end up with less credibility than where they started.
