No, Joe Biden Should Not Step Down
A woman named Tara Reade has come forward with allegations that the former Vice President Joe Biden has sexually assaulted her. I don’t believe that he should step down. I believe Joe Biden. Keep reading to find out why.
I am the last person who should be saying these things, no less thinking them. I was sexually assaulted twice, in the same year, no less. I have been on dates that have gone terribly wrong. I’ve been pressured into doing things I didn’t want to do. I’ve been repeatedly sexually harassed at work, especially when my career as a model came out after coworkers saw me on television. I know what its like to not be believed. I’ve had people tell me to my face that I was a liar, even after my teacher sexually assaulted me in an abandoned hallway in between the two gyms of my school.
So, it would make more sense that I would support Tara Reade and her allegations against the former Vice President.
But, I support Joe Biden.
There has been a lot of back and forth between Biden supporters and Tara supporters. There is little evidence to support her claims that anything happened at all. Somehow, Tara saved her employment records from 1993, but not the actual complaint that she claimed she filed, that at the time of this writing, no one can find.
