Honey Pot Products Available at Target

Beatrice Dixon should have been feeling pretty good. As a black woman who owns a profitable business, she was recently featured in a Target commercial boasting about how she received so much support from Target in putting her products on the shelves for all to buy. She felt encouraged that other black women would see her story and soon follow suit.

“So the next black girl that comes up with a great idea could have a better opportunity…”

Instead of praising Mrs. Dixon for her hard work and determination, she was almost immediately repaid with an onslaught of bad reviews for her product.

Beatrice Dixon and her products, Honey Pot.

It wasn’t long before she was met with people calling her of all things, “a racist.”

What racist thing did she do? Simply mention that she wanted to help other black girls who come up with great ideas to put forth in their communities. The review site TrustPilot was inundated with “reviews” from those who clearly didn’t buy the products and were just complaining because she talked about race.
