Covid-19 and Who Matters Here?
How Covid-19 continues to show Americans just who matters in pandemics…and just who doesn’t.

They came out in the streets, hundreds of them. They were angry and tired of being cooped up in the house. After weeks of worrying about the varying levels of toilet paper, watching their governors mumble about numbers on television, and counting how many celebrities put out Tik Tok videos of them doing innocuous things was starting to fray the nerves of nearly every American citizen.
So some of them began to scream, “We’re not going to take it…anymore.”
And they didn’t.
They marched out in the streets with signs, some funny while others were not so funny. Equating socialism or communism with social distancing was one sign that was confusing, while others were still chuckling over conservative activists holding signs saying, “My Body, My Choice”. Irony is not dead in America. It’s thriving pretty well in these conservative streets.
